The time is currently 12:55pm, and it is typical January day. Overcast skies, winds out of the East at 9km/h. Current temperature reads -5.0 oC (23.0oF, but feels chillier with the wind. The lake is completely snow covered, however there are numerous cracks within view of our balcony. Water has seeped through causing very apparent cracks/soft spots. Saw someone out walking from the south shore to Margerets island yesterday, better them then me! The forecast says we should expect about 5cm of snow tonight, more accumulation is forecast closer to Toronto. I love the fact we live in the bubble - an area that my wife and I have determined that we miss a lot of weather, seems to stretch from about Port Hope to Brighton. Our bubble!
